Northwest Africa 7041 (NWA 7041) (Northwest Africa) Purchased: Nov 2011 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL6) Petrography: Breccia composed of angular clasts containing rare partial chondrules in a fragmental matrix. Minerals are olivine, orthopyroxene, pigeonite, augite, sodic plagioclase, chromite, troilite and altered kamacite. Geochemistry: Olivine (Fa29.9-34.6), orthopyroxene (Fs24.4±0.0Wo1.2-1.4), pigeonite (Fs23.2Wo6.0), augite (Fs8.3Wo45.4). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
