Find: 2018

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL~5)

History: (Ziyao Wang) Purchased by Ziyao Wang from Jianming Wang in Hami/Xinjiang in 2019. This meteorite was discovered in 2018.

Physical characteristics: (Ziyao Wang) One yellow-brown stone of 97.7 g without fusion crust

Petrography: (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) Light-brown oxidized matrix with few recognizable gray chondrules (0.4-1.5 mm) and few metal and sulphide specks.

Geochemistry: Magnetic susceptibility (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) log χ (× 10-9 m3/kg) = 4.20

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL~5, W3)

Specimens: 22.7 g on deposit at Kiel, Ziyao Wang holds the main mass, and 24 g with Bart.
