Find: Nov 2018

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L~5)

History: Discovered by Tailu Zhao (Shanshan County, Xinjiang) on Nov. 25, 2018.

Physical characteristics: brown glossy stone of 73.6 g

Petrography: (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) brown, recrystallized matrix, with defined gray chondrules (0.3-2 mm, av. ~0.8 mm), and completely oxidized metal and sulfide. Vugs and cracks are mostly filled with iron-hydroxides and sulfate.

Geochemistry: Magnetic susceptibility (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) log χ (× 10-9 m3/kg) = 4.79

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L~5, W5)

Specimens: 19.1 g on deposit at Kiel, Bart holds the main mass.
