Find: 9 Jan 2021

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L~6)

History: On Jan. 9, 2021, Xuefeng Yang and Bakiriy discovered many brown stones in the Loulan Yizhi area on Jan. 9,2021 The main mass was sold to Jinyi Li.

Physical characteristics: Many brown stones weighting between 26.6 kg and below 10 g. Ínterior shows dark- to ochre-brown mottled cut face with black-brown veins.

Petrography: (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) Indistinct chondrules set in a brown stained recrystallized matrix. Cracks and vugs are filled with hydroxides/oxides of completely transformed metal and sulfide, as well as sulfate/carbonate evaporates.

Geochemistry: Magnetic susceptibility (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) log χ (× 10-9 m3/kg) = 4.43

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L~6, W4)

Specimens: 22.2 g on deposit at Kiel, Jinyi Li holds the main mass, and 171 g with Bart.
