Mesosiderite

The PTS (111-1) is composed of fragments of pyroxene and plagioclase, and breccia clasts (< 1 mm) set in a FeNi metallic matrix. Pyroxene compositions vary from Fs29.4Wo2.8 to Fs29.4Wo31.7 and the FeO/MnO is ~27.  Plagioclase has a composition of An89.3-90.2Or0.1-0.4.
