Lahoma Major County, Oklahoma, USA Found 1963 Ordinary chondrite (L5) A 21.8 kg stone was found west of the town of Lahoma by a farmer while plowing his field. He believed it was a meteorite and kept the stone in his front yard for 35 years. Description and classification (A. Rubin, UCLA): olivine, Fa25.3; shock stage, S4; weathering grade, W1; oriented stone; contains black shock veins and many dark inclusions.
