Lenghu 006 38°41’56.38"N, 93°36’39.91"E Qinghai, China Find: 2015 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H~6) History: (Ziyao Wang) Discovered by Yongsheng Wang near Lenghu Town (Qinghai) in 2015. Physical characteristics: Brown nearly round stone of 91.8 g without fusion crust Petrography: (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) light-brown, recrystallized matrix, poorly developed chondrules, and melt veins. Metal and sulfide nearly completely oxidized. Geochemistry: Magnetic susceptibility (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) log χ (× 10-9 m3/kg) = 4.59 Classification: Ordinary chondrite (H~6, W4) Specimens: 19.2 g on deposit at Kiel, Ziyao Wang holds the main mass, and 14 g with Bart. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
