Physical Description: Roberta Score

Stone is completely covered with brown and black fusion crust. No unweathered material was exposed during processing. Dimensions: 4 x 3 x 2 cm.

 

Petrographic Description: Brian Mason

Chondrules are sparse and poorly defined, tending to merge with the granular groundmass, which consists largely of olivine and pyroxene, with minor amounts of nickel-iron, troilite, and plagioclase. Weathering is extensive, with veins and patches of red-brown limonite throughout the section. Microprobe analyses give the following compositions: olivine, Fa19; pyroxene, Fs16; plagioclase, An13. The meteorite is classified as an H6 chondrite.
