Journ. of the Tennessee Academy of Science, vol. 38, No. 1, January, 1963, reports about a find in January 1962 seventh specimen of the iron meteorite Smithville, DeKalb County, Tennessee, USA, weighing approximately 2.924 kg. First specimen of this meteorite was found in 1840 (see: G. T. Prior. Catalogue of Meteorites. Second edition by Max H. Hey, London, 1953). | ||||||||||||||||
