Kress (c) Swisher County, Texas, USA Found 1994 March Ordinary chondrite (H5) A 57 g stone was found in a roadside ditch. Mineralogy and clas-sification (M. Prinz, AMNH): olivine, Fo80; pyroxene, En80–82 Wo1.1–1.6. Note that the L6 chondrite from Kress, Texas, found in 1951 should now be referred to as Kress (a). Specimens: main mass, Farrell; type specimen, AMNH. | ||||||||||||||||
