Ureilite

The section shows a coarse-grained (up to 5 mm) granular texture composed of olivine and minor pyroxene. Olivine grains have dark rims (100-200 μm thick) due to the presence of minute grains of Fe metals and troilite. Dark materials occur along grain boundaries. Olivine compositions are Fa6.8-20.2.
