Loulan Yizhi 034 ~40°09’N, ~89°39’E Xinjiang, China Find: 28 Mar 2019 Classification: Ureilite History: (Ziyao Wang) Purchased by Ziyao Wang from Aikeranmu Jiapaer (Shanshan County, Xinjiang) in Shanshan/Xinjiang in Jul 2019. This meteorite was discovered by Aikeranmu Jiapaer on 28 Mar 2019 Physical characteristics: (Ziyao Wang) Two brown individuals of 6.2 kg and 850 g without fusion crust Petrography: (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) silicate grains up to 3 mm in length with triple junctions, surrounded by graphite. Geochemistry: (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart, P. Appel and B. Mader, Kiel) Olivine Fa21.6±0.7 (n=22); pigeonite En73Fs18Wo9 (n=11). Ni-poor kamacite Ni=0.7, Co=0.3 (n=3). Magnetic susceptibility (R. Bartoschewitz, Bart) log χ (× 10-9 m3/kg) = 4.45 Classification: Ureilite Specimens: 20.2 g at Kiel, Ziyao Wang, Yifeng Duan and Shuming Wang hold the main mass and 166 g with Bart. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
