ROSES-14 Amendment 21: Cancelation of the Dawn Focused Research and Analysis Program, and the addition of Dawn data to the Discovery Data Analysis Program.
On release of ROSES-14 in February 2014, C.20 was listed as TBD with the intention to release the Dawn Focused Research and Analysis Program (DFRAP). Instead, the scope of C.11, the Discovery Data Analysis Program (DDAP), has been expanded to include the Dawn mission data. C.3, Solar System Workings (SSW), was always open to eligible studies of Dawn. SSW due dates remain unchanged. Step-1 proposals are due May 23, 2014, and Step-2 proposals are due July 25, 2014. DDAP due dates remain unchanged. Step-1 proposals are due July 14, 2014, and Step-2 proposals are due September 12, 2014. NASA intends to issue a Dawn Guest Investigator Program through C.20, by an Amendment to ROSES-2014.
On or about May 20, 2014, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement “Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2014” (NNH14ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at http://nspires.nasaprs.com/ and will appear on the RSS feed at: http://nasascience.nasa.gov/researchers/sara/grant-solicitations/roses-2014
