ROSES-14 Amendment 46: Draft ROSES-2015 text for Appendix B.6 H-LWS

This Amendment releases DRAFT text for ROSES-2015 Appendix B.6 Heliophysics Living With a Star Science. This text is being released in advance for community information and comment. The final text for Appendix B.6, which will be released in February with ROSES-2015, may differ from what appears in ROSES-2014. We anticipate that Step-1 proposals will be due on March 13, 2015 and Step-2 proposals will be due on May 1, 2015.

The Strategic Capabilities element will not be competed in ROSES-2015. Cross-Discipline Infrastructure proposals seeking support for Summer Schools and young scientist development and the Sun-Climate Theme will be competed in ROSES-2015. Targeted Science Team proposals, whereby a single large proposal covers the entire breadth of a Focus Science Topic will not be permitted in ROSES-2015.

Proposal submission to all calls in Heliophysics continues by a two-step process, in which a Notice of Intent is replaced by a required Step-1 proposal. The Title and investigators cannot be changed between the Step-1 and Step-2 proposals. See Section 2 for details.

On or about December 15, 2014, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement “Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2014” (NNH14ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at http://nspires.nasaprs.com/¬†and will appear at http://nasascience.nasa.gov/researchers/sara/grant-solicitations/roses-2014on the ROSES 2014 RSS feed.
