GSA 2015 SESSION T173: IMPACT CRATERING ON EARTH AND IN THE SOLAR SYSTEM

Data from terrestrial fieldwork, advances in modeling and experimentation, and spacecraft data have provided significant new insight into the characteristics of the impact cratering processes.

This session will provide an opportunity to share information and insight. The Gold lecture of this year’s Penrose Medalist, Jim Head (Brown University) will be featured in this session. Please join us.
