Postdoctoral Position at the Lunar and Planetary Institute

The Lunar and Planetary Institute (LPI) in Houston, Texas seeks a self-motivated postdoctoral researcher to undertake work in any area of the planetary sciences. LPI postdoctoral researchers are provided significant resources to help advance their careers, including competitive salaries and fringe benefit package, active mentoring, opportunities to pursue personal research activities, and training in proposal writing, effective presentation skills, and interactions with funding agencies and the media.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in planetary science. Postdoctoral positions will be offered for an initial period of up to two years, with possible extension to a maximum of three years. There is no firm application deadline and applications will be reviewed periodically.
