The University of Arizona’s Lunar and Planetary Laboratory will again be jointly sponsoring a workshop with JAXA about missions that could be enabled by JAXA’s small launcher. The workshop will be Nov. 12-13 at the Michael J. Drake Building in Tucson. More details are in the attached announcement or at https://www.lpl.arizona.edu/jaxaworkshop/
This time the focus will be on asteroids. Besides discussing two proposed JAXA missions, there will also be a session about other asteroids for which a flyby might be useful, so we will be taking short abstracts if you have a favorite asteroid.
