In an upcoming special issue of Icarus, David Williams and colleagues present new global geologic maps of Ceres. The maps were made from data collected by the Dawn spacecraft during its primary mission from March 2015 through June 2016. Three different types of map products were created: A synoptic geologic map at 1:10 M scale, maps derived from High Altitude Orbit data at 1:1 M scale, and 15 maps from low altitude mapping orbits at 1:500,000 scale. Over 45 different geologic units have been identified that make up six different geologic classes.
