Final Preparation Information for MEPAG Meeting 36

We are very excited to welcome in-person and remote attendees to MEPAG Meeting 36! This meeting is scheduled for Tuesday-Thursday, April 3-5, 2018, at the Crystal City Marriott at Reagan National Airport, and will occur 8:15am – 6:00pm EDT on days 1 and 2; and 8:00am – 3:00pm EDT on day 3. All oral presentations and discussion periods will also be webcast (i.e., all except the forum poster session on day 1 and daily breaks/lunches) — connection information, along with all other meeting information, is available on the meeting webpage: https://mepag.jpl.nasa.gov/meetings.cfm?expand=m36.

The final agenda (v11) has been posted. Additionally, all forum presentation abstracts are also available (along with information for presenters and attendees about the information we aim to get out of the forum). On day 1, 1min lightning talks will be given for all abstracts (this will be webcast), and posters will be loosely grouped by topic so as to facilitate small group discussions (“maps” showing how posters are organized will be available at the meeting). We aim to gather information relevant to potential future MEPAG activities from these as well as the individual presentations.

To those attending in-person, we remind you that we cannot supply refreshments (per NASA conference regulations) but the hotel has a Starbucks in the lobby and we will have information about local eateries. Additionally, we have one participant who is extremely allergic to fragrances, cleaners and smoke, so we ask that you refrain from using or bringing scented items to the meeting. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

During the meeting, please send questions or comments about presentations via the webcast chat window (as described below); and pressing questions or concerns regarding logistic issues can be sent directly to Dr. Serina Diniega (meeting coordinator) at [email protected]. Outside of the meeting days, questions or comments can always be sent to [email protected].

We greatly look forward to the presentations and discussion, and hope you can participate.

– Dr. Serina Diniega, MEPAG Meeting 36 Coordinator
