Dear colleagues,
We would like to invite you to submit an abstract to the European Planetary Science Congress 2018, EPSC 2018 (16–21 September 2018, Berlin, Germany), on the
Session LSE1/TP15: Late Accretion onto the Moon, Earth and other Terrestrial Planets (co-organized)
Resume:
From the last giant collisions with planetary embryos to the subsequent late bombardment by smaller bodies, this session will consider the late growth history of the terrestrial planets, over the period from 4.5 to 3.8 billion years ago. Bringing together various disciplines including geology, geophysics, geodynamics, and chemistry, we seek a better understanding of the timing and rates, chemical budget, and geodynamic implications of late accretion of the planetary bodies belonging to the inner Solar System. Contributions of both modelling and experimental results are invited and encouraged.
For more information and abstract submission, please see:
https://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EPSC2018/session/29953
The abstract submission deadline is: 16 May 2018, 13:00 CEST.
Please feel free to forward this message to interested people in the field and contact the conveners if you have any further questions.
We are looking forward to see you all in Berlin!
Best regards,
Greg, Elena, Sabrina, Emily
