The Cosmic Ray Telescope for the Effects of Radiation (CRaTER) on the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter has been moonlighting as a live internet radio station for almost 5 years now. The sonification of cosmic ray counts measured by CRaTER’s six detectors was created by Marty Quinn. The design and product are really quite elegant – like Beethoven playing jazz, and can be enjoyed in real time on the CRaTER Live Internet Radio Station.
