The book Chasing New Horizons: Inside the Epic First Mission to Pluto was published earlier this week and it’s getting great reviews.
My co-author, David Grinspoon, and I put our heart and soul into this book over the past two and a half years, telling the story of how a team of people spent a quarter century striving and persevering, and had the chance to explore the farthest place ever visited in history — Pluto and its system of moons.
Chasing New Horizons tells the whole, never-before-told story of that adventure — the good, the bad, and the sometimes ugly, culminating in the amazing triumph of the Pluto flyby in 2015.
