Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency’s (JAXA’s) Hayabusa2 spacecraft released the twin MINERVA-II1 landers above the surface of asteroid Ryugu on September 20. The rovers will “hop” around Ryugu’s surface collecting images and other data.
