The LPI/JSC Joint Working Group announces the fourth hands-on training in the handling and manipulation of small extraterrestrial samples that will be held at NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, Texas, on October 23-25, 2019. The Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science (ARES) Division at JSC and the Lunar and Planetary Institute will share expertise with the planetary science community via these training sessions to stimulate innovative investigations of the invaluable collections of extraterrestrial materials curated by ARES/JSC. Eligibility and selection criteria, schedule, and application form can be found online. The application deadline is July 26.
