Three Planetary Scientists Elected Into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences

Academy President David W. Oxtoby and Chair of the Board of Directors Nancy C. Andrews have announced that more than 200 outstanding individuals have been elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2019. The new members are listed here.

Among those listed are three planetary scientists:

John P. Grotzinger (Caltech)
Natalie M. Batalha (UC Santa Cruz)
Eugene Chiang (UC Berkeley)

The new class will be inducted in October 2019.
