A 2-year post-doctoral position is available at the Astrophysical Institute of the Canary Islands (in Tenerife, Spain) to work on topics within the project “P3NEOI Deimos contract” (P/301901), within its Solar System Group, led by Drs. Javier Licandro and Julia de León. The project is focused in the compositional characterization of near-Earth objects (NEOs) using ground-based spectroscopic and photometric observations using the facilities in the Canary Islands observatories. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. degree in Physics/Astrophysics/Planetary Science. Observational experience (photometry and spectroscopy) as well as skills in data mining will be valuable.
