Increasing Science Capabilities in the Apollo Lunar Exploration Program Virtual Public Lecture, September 24

Join us on Thursday, September 24, at 7 p.m. CDT for a virtual public lecture presented by Dr. Jim Head of Brown University. Dr. Head will present a brief review of the Apollo landing sites, surface operations, and science return of each mission. He will discuss the rapid transition from achieving a national goal (Apollo 11) to performing scientific expeditions and the science and engineering synergism that helped in understanding the origin and evolution of the Moon.
