The Lunar and Planetary Institute seeks extraordinary students to join us for the 2021 Summer Undergraduate Program for Planetary Research (SUPPR). The eight-week program will run from June to August 2021. Selected interns are paired up to work one-on-one with NASA-sponsored planetary science investigators from various scientific institutions.

SUPPR interns will receive a $6,300 stipend to cover the cost of the internship, housing, and cost of living expenses. A travel stipend will be considered on a case-by-case basis if the mentor’s institution opens during the internship and allows visitors onsite. Due to the ongoing pandemic, applicants should monitor U.S. travel restrictions and entry requirements.

The internship is expected to have a virtual component. Selected participants will be notified of the internship platform.
