The Lunar and Planetary Institute (LPI) is pleased to announce the ten recipients of this year’s Career Development Award. The award is given to graduate students who have submitted a first-author abstract to present at the virtual 52nd Lunar and Planetary Science Conference (LPSC). The awards are based on a review of the abstract and application materials by a panel of planetary scientists and will help cover the recipients’ LPSC registration fee. This year, the LPI received applications from the United States, India, United Kingdom, Austria, France, the Czech Republic, and Italy.
The 52nd LPSC will be held virtually on March 15โ19, 2021. The meeting provides an invaluable opportunity for students to present their research and hear and see firsthand the latest results from other researchers in their field. Opportunities are also being made available at this virtual meeting for student and early career networking, during which they can connect with an international group of distinguished researchers.
