Travel Grants and Registration Open for 2023 Hybrid Planet In Situ Workshop Within the International Conference on Aeolian Research (ICAR)

You are invited to participate in the second 2023 hybrid workshop on Optimizing Planetary In Situ Surface-Atmosphere Interaction Investigations (Planet In Situ), held in conjunction with the International Conference on Aeolian Research (ICAR).

This one-day workshop, held virtually and in Las Cruses, New Mexico, on Saturday, July 15 (following ICAR), will include lightning talks about instrument and operations concepts under development and panel discussions about observation site selection considerations and avoiding spacecraft-induced perturbations. All community members interested in participating in the Saturday presentations/discussion can register for free at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdn9vCdH61DTdR8FQvjqmiABegpSKN8DtkLadSnRs4xIHxfjg/viewform. As we can accommodate a limited number of virtual attendees, those who would observe only should wait for recordings of the workshop to be posted on the Planet In Situ website (http://planetinsitu.space/) and the ICAR conference website (https://www.icarxi.com/).

When you register, please indicate if you are interested in attending in person and can demonstrate a relevant technology during the ICAR field trip on July 12. Note the link for travel grants is available for U.S. persons, and the deadline to apply for travel grants is May 31. Please send any questions to Serina Diniega at [email protected].
