American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting 2023 Session on Martian Sulfates

We invite you to consider submitting an abstract to American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting 2023 Session P026: Martian Sulfates Studied Using Orbital, Ground, Laboratory, and Earth Data

This session is broadly on the geochemical significance of sulfur/sulfate cycling on Mars. We are hoping to generate cross-disciplinary ideas and forge new collaborations, and we especially encourage submissions that describe advances in current knowledge of sulfates detected in orbital observations of Mars, by the in-situ rover investigations, in field analog studies of sulfate deposits found on Earth, in laboratory measurements (spectral signatures, other properties of sulfates), and processes and models describing formation and cycling of sulfates on Mars and Earth.
