Office of Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) Program

The SCGSR program provides supplemental funds for graduate students to conduct part of their thesis research at a host U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) laboratory/facility in collaboration with a DOE laboratory scientist during a 3- to 12-month award period. The opportunity is expected to advance the graduate student’s research project by providing access to the expertise, resources, and capabilities available at the DOE laboratories/facilities. Applications are due on May 4.
