This is an annotated image of the topography in Mercator projection showing major highland and lowland regions. Regions within 500 meters of the mean planetary radius are shown as a single shade of gray. Higher topography is shown as shades of pink, while lower topography is shown as shades of blue.

Unless otherwise noted, global Magellan images are in Mercator projection and all other images are in sinusoidal projection with a projection longitude equal to the image’s central longitude.
