Summer Undergraduate Program for Planetary Research

Eligibility

Undergraduates who have not yet begun graduate studies and who are interested in learning about research in planetary geoscience are eligible. Previous participants of SUPPR (formerly PGGURP) are not eligible. Preference is given to U.S. citizens and permanent residents. Applicants will be considered regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, religion, or other protected status.

Selection is based on these criteria:

  • Scholarship, curriculum, and experience
  • Career objectives and scientific interest
  • Match of applicant's interest with available research projects

All online application information must be received by the LPI no later than February 10, 2023 11:59 p.m., CST. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. Notification of selection will be made by April 2023. Successful applicants should be prepared to make a decision regarding the offer to participate within two days of notification.
