21st Meeting of the Venus Exploration Analysis Group (VEXAG)

The annual meeting of the Venus Exploration Analysis Group (VEXAG) will be held on October 30–31, 2023, in Albuquerque, NM, at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science. The meeting will be held in person with opportunities for virtual participation. The meeting will be held in coordination with the third LPI Venus Initiative conference, Venus as a System, which will take place on November 1–3, 2023, at the same venue.
The annual meeting is a two-day forum for scientists and engineers to discuss NASA, U.S., and international exploration of Venus.
Registration
Registration fees are not being collected for this meeting, but registration is required. Before the meeting, all registered attendees will receive an email from Houston Meeting Info with virtual connection information.
VEXAG Meeting Participation Support
VEXAG is offering a limited number of stipends for in-person and virtual attendance at the VEXAG October 2023 meeting. This support ensures active participation in the meeting by students and early-career researchers (less than seven years from Ph.D. or last degree serving in a non-tenured or equivalent position). The support may cover costs associated with travel and/or defraying child or elder care. Stipends will be paid to recipients after the meeting and upon verification of attendance.

Meeting Participation Support Criteria and Requirements
- Eligible applicants: students and early-career researchers (less than seven years from Ph.D. or last degree serving in a non-tenured or equivalent position)
- Explain how your interest in attending the VEXAG meeting.
- Describe prior involvement in VEXAG activities.
- Explain how attending this meeting will benefit your career.
- Be able to receive income in the United States (stipends are considered income).
- Civil servants and members of the military are not eligible for this support.
